Shadow Work, Structured

The parts of you that had to go quiet did not disappear. Shadow work is how you meet them.

Take the Shadow Work Test

Shadow work is the practice Carl Jung built his depth psychology around. The parts of you that were unacceptable somewhere along the way, the anger, the neediness, the ambition, the softness, did not vanish. They went underground. From there they run patterns you did not choose: who you pick, what you tolerate, where you sabotage yourself, what you cannot seem to stop doing.

Most people meet shadow work through prompts and journals, and most people stall there. A list of questions cannot tell you which question is yours. Real shadow work starts with a map: what is actually in your shadow, where it came from, and what it protects. Without the map, you are journaling in the dark.

People often search for shadow work healing, and honesty matters here: healing is a big word, and no test or app should promise it. What shadow work can do is make the invisible visible. Integration, in Jung's terms. The pattern you could not see becomes a pattern you can work with, and that is where change actually starts.

Mindberg begins with a free shadow test that builds your map: the traits you disowned, the patterns they run, and what they are protecting. Then it gives you structured daily shadow work built on your profile, not a generic prompt list. Built by a Jung Institute analyst. Not a journaling app.

What people ask

What is Carl Jung shadow work?

Jung observed that whatever we refuse to be conscious of does not go away. It acts from the dark, and we call the results fate. Carl Jung shadow work is the deliberate practice of finding those refused parts and bringing them into view, so they stop running you from below. Mindberg's test is built on that framework.

How do I start shadow work?

Not with a random prompt list. Start by finding out what is actually in your shadow. Take the test, get the map, then do the daily work it points to. The test is free to start.

Is this therapy?

No. Mindberg is structured Jungian shadow work: a test, a profile, and daily practice. It is not therapy and not a substitute for it. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a professional or a crisis line.

Ready to see it?

The test is free and takes about five minutes. What you find is yours to keep.
